These requirements went into effect January 1, 2020. The City encourages owners and operators to submit applications as soon as possible in order to process the first wave of licenses in a timely and efficient manner. Please note that if you have a current STR License, the forms to upload are available on our website. Once you have created your account through our portal, you will need to contact our office for your Access Code to renew your license.

Requirements include but are not limited to:
- Application and fees – Initial license fee is $600 per unit, annual renewal fee is $300 per unit. A late of $300 for licenses that do not renew by end of business on December 1st.
- Ownership Transfer Form - License can only be transferred within 60 days from the date of closing. Fee is $300.
- The fee(s) can be paid through Invoice Cloud or call (844) 533-1396. Processing fee will apply. You will use your existing STR license number as the account number, new licenses use your rental address.
- Health and safety inspections
- Excise tax reporting (requires a State UBI #)
- Parking and occupancy limits
- Good neighbor guidelines to ensure operational standards such as garbage collection, noise and pet control
- State insurance requirements ($1,000,000 policy)
- Enforcement fees and fines
- For property owners who do not engage the services of a property management company with local representation: As part of the application process, we now request that you furnish proof of residency for your designated responsible party. Acceptable documents for this purpose encompass a valid driver’s license, property tax receipt, utility statements, lease agreement or mortgage statement, voter registration card, and similar forms of verification.
